A very beautiful circa 1960s, classic Zaiane Berber rug that is certainly a rural masterpiece and that gently echoes the ordered and formal designs of urban Moroccan rugs. The warm orange and light tangerine tones are only slightly faded with time, and remain nicely bold. Created in soft pure wool, there is soft pile wear throughout leaving a nice low and flat surface. This is a glorious rug from a time when Berber weaving was fine, skilled, and exquisite. There are four small visible restorations in the gorgeous piece
